We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with spinal cord injuries and acquired brain injuries in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility.
- Support clients with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Assist clients with communication and social interaction, promoting independence and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing excellent care and support.
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.50 (increasing to £12 after successful completion of probation).
- Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Care Manager.
- Accrued holiday pay and flexible zero-hours contract.
