Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Housing Lawyer to join our team at Cameron Kennedy. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal professional to manage their own caseload of housing management cases, including disrepair, succession, and non-occupation/subletting claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of housing management cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Handle matters relating to disrepair, succession, and non-occupation/subletting claims, applying in-depth knowledge of housing law and case management.
  • Attend court and conduct advocacy on behalf of the local authority, demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of pre-action protocols and Civil Procedure Rules, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of housing law and case management, with experience in attending court and conducting advocacy.
  • Solid knowledge of pre-action protocols and Civil Procedure Rules, with a focus on local authority experience.
  • Ability to work independently, managing a caseload and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Additional Details:

  • Up to £50 per hour, depending on experience, with a flexible working arrangement of 1-2 days per week in our south London offices.
  • Condensed hours will be considered, but a 4-day working week is required.
