Up to £50 per hour

Cameron Kennedy is seeking an experienced Housing Lawyer to manage a caseload of housing management cases, including disrepair, succession, and non-occupation/subletting claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of housing management cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Handle matters relating to disrepair, succession, and non-occupation/subletting claims, applying knowledge of pre-action protocols and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Attend court and conduct advocacy on behalf of the local authority, demonstrating strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of housing law and case management, staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of housing law and case management, with experience in attending court and conducting advocacy.
  • Solid knowledge of pre-action protocols and Civil Procedure Rules, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Local authority experience preferred, but not essential.

Additional Details:

  • Up to £50 per hour, depending on experience.
  • 1-2 days per week in the south London offices (negotiable for the right candidate).
  • Condensed hours will be considered, but a 4-day working week is required.
