Job Title: Senior Nuclear Engineering Manager

Location: Flexible working arrangements available

Salary: Competitive + bonus & car allowance

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Reactor Plant build and commissioning delivery programme through innovative engineering solutions and problem solving
  2. Ensure the maintenance of Reactor Plant design intent during the build and commissioning phases
  3. Support assessment of plant design changes
  4. Assess plant build maturity for entry into subsequent build phases
  5. Provide technically sound challenges to existing requirements
  6. Write and present reports to communicate nuclear issues to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  7. Liaise with authorities and assurance agencies to ensure technical solutions can be accepted and certified
  8. Lead the assessment and management of complex inter-domain or inter-function issues
Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Degree Qualified Engineering/Physical Science discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics
  2. Knowledge of the nuclear industry and Nuclear Regulations
  3. Previous exposure to Engineering Lifecycle
  4. Previous Nuclear plant experience

Desirable:

  1. Proven technical report writing skills
  2. Experience in presenting to various senior stakeholders
