About the Role

The successful Mechanical & Electrical Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and carrying out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement. They'll also diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used. Additionally, they'll carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices if applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults
  • Carry out vehicle servicing and routine examinations
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify repair methods
  • Carry out vehicle road testing
  • Use PCV mechanical repair skills and have an understanding of electrics

Requirements

  • Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent
  • Full Cat B license
  • Welding experience is preferable
  • PCV license isn't essential, we can support you in gaining it
  • Conversant with vehicle systems and workshop equipment
