Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Department Practitioner to join our team. As a Specialist Care Leader, you will be responsible for the assessment of care needs, development of care programs, and implementation and evaluation of these programs to deliver high-quality care to patients.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assessing presenting conditions, initiating investigations, and determining differential diagnoses. You will also be responsible for initiating treatment, discharging patients, and reviewing treatment plans developed by less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment of care needs and development of care programs
  • Implementation and evaluation of care programs
  • Initiation of investigations and determination of differential diagnoses
  • Initiation of treatment and discharge of patients
  • Review of treatment plans developed by less experienced staff
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current revalidation and NMC Registration
  • Graduate Certificate in Urgent Care or equivalent
  • MINTS Major / Minor Injury practitioner / or Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification
  • Postgraduate expertise within speciality / area of practice
