Job Overview:

Arm is seeking a highly skilled Principal SoC Design Engineer to join its team in developing silicon demonstrators based on Arm's IP. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing SoC Solution architecture, crafting design micro-architecture specifications, and developing RTL designs. The role requires experience in static design checks, synthesis, and timing analysis, as well as power management techniques and clock domain crossing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and develop SoC Solution architecture and design micro-architecture specifications.
  • Develop RTL designs using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Perform static design checks, synthesis, and timing analysis.
  • Implement power management techniques and clock domain crossing.
  • Collaborate with the verification team to review test plans and debug design issues.
  • Work with the performance and power analysis teams to evaluate and improve system performance and power.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Experience in RTL design for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g. Tcl, Perl, Python).
  • Mentoring or coaching experience.
  • Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures.
