Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at The Grange in providing care and assistance to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients, focusing on rehabilitation goals and promoting independence
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, building strong relationships and trust
  • Engage clients in activities that stimulate their physical and mental well-being, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfillment
  • Utilise strong behaviour management skills to de-escalate challenging situations and promote a safe and respectful environment
Requirements
  • Experience in adult care and rehabilitation care, or related fields
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
