Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and engineering of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  2. Address any maintenance issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and implement preventative measures.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  5. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and replaced as needed.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance staff.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  8. Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Requirements:

  1. A HNC, City & Guilds L3 or NVQ L4 in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  2. Proven experience in maintenance and engineering, preferably in a similar role.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  7. Valid driving license.
