Support Worker for Home Healthcare

Job Summary
Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our service users. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to service users with complex needs, including medication administration, repositioning, and clinical interventions.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Encourage and support service users to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service user interactions, including medication administration and care activities.
Requirements
- 3 months previous care experience, preferably in a complex care setting.
- Experience with medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users and their families.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
