Job Title: Nurse Functional Assessor

Maximus UK Services Limited is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Functional Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our assessment team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to understand the impact of their disability or health condition on their daily life
  • Produce detailed reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining eligibility for benefits
  • Develop and maintain your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with computer software to produce detailed reports
