We're looking for skilled developers who excel in technical expertise and game development passion. As part of the Design/Scripting team, you'll develop script frameworks and code gameplay systems, engaging with classic game programming areas like AI, physics, animation, UI, and data management.

This full-time, permanent position is based in Rockstar's studio in Dundee, Scotland.

Job Description
  • Design and Implement Core Frameworks: Develop systems that form the backbone of our games' content, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Data-Driven Systems Expertise: Help define data structure and flow across multiple domains, contributing to efficient system performance.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with the design department and code team to shape the C++/C# interface, driving innovation and quality.
  • Problem-Solving and Code Optimization: Identify and fix memory and performance issues, maintaining high code standards.
  • Leadership and Code Quality: Define code standards, work processes, and ensure overall code quality, setting a positive example for your team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Software Architecture and Programming Background: A degree in software architecture or related field is highly valued.

Expected Salary Range: £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
