Electrical Installation Lecturer Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our team at Learn Trade Skills. As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and assessment to candidates in accordance with Accreditation Boards' requirements.
  • Conduct assessments and provide feedback to candidates.
  • Invigilate exams and maintain the integrity of the assessment process.
  • Promote the company's services and mantra.
  • Ensure a tidy training and assessment area.
  • Liaise with Directors to create course structures and training materials.
  • Liaise with the team to address non-technical resources, paperwork, and feedback.
  • Continuously increase scope and take training when available.
  • Attend regular team meetings.
  • Support candidates throughout their course and monitor their progress.

Requirements

  • Part P - Building Regulations qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Inspection and Testing qualification.
  • Solar Panel (Photovoltaic) qualification.
  • Electrical Energy Storage Systems qualification.
  • Fire Alarm qualification.
  • PAT Testing qualification.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • A1 assessor awards or equivalent (desirable).
  • NVQ in centre assessor award (desirable).
  • NVQ Occupational assessor award (desirable).
  • V1 assessor award (desirable).
  • Other industry qualifications (desirable).
