About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and confident Security Officer to join our dynamic team at Securitas Security Services. As a vital member of our security team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at our site.

This role requires applicants to be female only, due to site-based operational needs. If you're a vigilant and proactive individual with a passion for ensuring safety and security, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Security Officer, you'll be responsible for conducting security checks, monitoring site access, and performing necessary searches. You'll also work closely with other team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting security checks and ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors.
  • Monitoring and managing site access, maintaining strict control over who enters the premises.
  • Performing necessary searches, ensuring that procedures are followed with the utmost respect and professionalism.
  • Responding swiftly and effectively to any incidents, providing support and coordination as needed.
  • Working closely with other team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Requirements include:

  • SIA Licence
  • Access to vehicle/good transport links
  • Any experience but ideally 2 years Security experience
  • RTW and 5yr checkable history including education and/or employment
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Communication
  • IT literate
  • Problem solving
  • Team work
