Job Title: Service Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Service Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Service Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting our engineering team in the maintenance and repair of our fleet of powered access platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at depot or on site as required and in conformance with manufacturer's specification, company policy, and regulations.
  • Repair machines at depot or on site as required, ensuring conformance with manufacturer's specification and company policy.
  • Complete planned maintenance activities, including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard.
  • Maintain high levels of personal appearance, ensuring uniform and personal protective equipment are used correctly.
Requirements:
  • A-C or equivalent grades in Maths, English, Science, and one other subject essential. Proof must be shown.
  • Passion for engineering
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
