About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Worker to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment for students.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans.
  • Support the overall well-being of students and contribute to a positive school ethos.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in a school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or psychology would be advantageous.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
