Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Prison Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Northumberland. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals within our prison service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of patients. You will be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive healthcare services, including health assessments, diagnosis, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals within our prison service
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive healthcare services
  • Conduct health assessments, diagnosis, and referrals as required
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with NMC
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
  • V300 Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification
  • Experience working within a Primary or Emergency Care setting desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
