Fire & Security Project Engineer - Nationwide Opportunities Available

Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team.

Basic Salary – £32-40,000 subject to experience

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for technically engineering, installing, and managing small and large projects across the Marlowe portfolio, while controlling and planning the projects and commissioning works.

  1. Liaise with key clients to ensure program deadlines are achieved while maintaining profitability, Health, Safety, and quality to company requirements.
  2. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  3. Process cost sheets to the purchasing department.
  4. Plan and control labour and materials required to deliver the project.
  5. Ensure all engineering paperwork is allocated to the engineers and following project completion, ensure commissioning is completed correctly.
  6. Provide technical expertise as required on projects.
  7. Attend site meetings as required.
  8. Line management of engineers and sub-contractors as assigned, including management of employees.
  9. Managing job profitability of assigned projects and reporting into the project manager.
  10. Controlling all aspects of health and safety on sites.
  11. Carry out installation and commissioning of systems and minor works when required.
  12. Ensure the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards.
Requirements

In addition to having all the usual attributes of a great Marlowe Fire & Security employee, such as a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well-presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the fire and security industry.
  2. Experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations.
  3. Technical knowledge of major systems and projects.
  4. Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
  5. Must be prepared to work anywhere at any time to ensure the project is complete following all Marlowe health and safety guidelines.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and works well in a team environment or on their own.
  7. A driven and enthusiastic individual that relishes a challenging environment.
