We are seeking a Safeguarding Support Specialist to join our team at RIBBONS AND REEVES in Kensington & Chelsea.

In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting high levels of student attendance and ensuring their safety, contributing to their personal and academic growth. The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitoring and tracking student attendance daily, identifying patterns and addressing absenteeism issues promptly.
  2. Liaising with parents and guardians to discuss attendance and safeguarding concerns, offering support and working collaboratively to improve outcomes for students.
  3. Implementing strategies to encourage punctuality and regular attendance, while maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding and student welfare.
  4. Collaborating with school staff, including pastoral teams, to address attendance-related issues and ensure safeguarding policies are upheld.
  5. Maintaining accurate attendance records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols, school policies, and legal requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  2. Experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
  3. A proactive, empathetic approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and supporting student well-being.
