Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team at Essex County Council. As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in applying psychology to improve the lives of children and young people in Essex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply psychology to support the development of children and young people in Essex
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners and professional colleagues to deliver innovative approaches to meeting the needs of rapidly growing and diverse school communities
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive, collegiate environment that promotes continuous professional and practice development
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
Requirements
  • Hold a Doctorate or a Masters degree in Professional Educational Psychology
  • Be registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist or will be eligible for registration with the HCPC at the end of their training
  • Be eligible for Graduate membership with the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS)
