About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fishkeeping Store Manager to join our team at Maidenhead Aquatics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aid in the daily operations of the store, ensuring the highest standards of aquatic care and customer service.
- Oversee the maintenance of the store's aquatic inventory, including the care and well-being of fish and other aquatic animals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive shopping environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail or aquatic-related role, with a strong understanding of fishkeeping and aquatic care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
