We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Support students during classroom activities, fostering social skills and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student development.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students who have SEMH needs.
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Relevant certification or training in special education or a related field is an asset.
Working with Us:
  • Work closely with teachers to identify and address SEMH challenges.
  • Provide support during classroom activities, helping students stay focused and engaged.
  • Communicate with parents and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student development.
