Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Working Hours: 08:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join one of our esteemed Primary schools in Tower Hamlets. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Collaborative Support: Work closely with the class teacher to provide individual and small group support to children with special educational needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential.

SEN Support: Capable of providing 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Child Development Knowledge: A basic understanding of child development and effective support strategies.

Team-Oriented: Strong ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Empathetic Listener: Capable of boosting pupils' confidence and self-esteem through active listening and appropriate interventions.

Please note that a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection is critical for this role. Successful candidates must pass all necessary background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
