Job Summary

As a key member of the Apprenticeship Management Team, the Group Deputy Head will be responsible for overseeing Apprenticeships in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional (STEP) Construction. This role requires close collaboration with the Business Development team to develop and secure new business, following up on Apprenticeship enquiries, employer new business enquiries, and IAG for parents and prospective apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Apprenticeships in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Professional (STEP) Construction
• Work closely with the Business Development team to develop and secure new business
• Monitor and track Apprenticeship programmes, ensuring timely completion and compliance
• Support and collaborate with the Group Apprenticeship Team Leader and Apprenticeship Administrators to ensure accurate coordination of the sign-up process and compliance of paperwork

Requirements

This role is suitable for an individual with significant experience in tracking and monitoring apprentices through their programmes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of engaging with employers and developing apprenticeships and curriculum, as well as monitoring and supporting 'at-risk' learners to achieve or exceed their potential. The ideal candidate will have high personal standards and expectations, be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, and have a creative approach to problem-solving.
