As a Clinical Quality Assurance Specialist at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality maternity services. With an estimated salary of £56,000-£70,000 per annum, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership to ensure safe and robust processes within the maternity system. This includes working collaboratively with providers to address issues of quality and safety, as well as ensuring compliance with the three-year single delivery plan and Ockenden recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in the development of systems and processes in support of quality improvement. You should also have experience in monitoring and assuring quality of care in healthcare settings, as well as experience working in acute care settings.

The ideal candidate will be a registered midwife with post-registration professional development and appropriate experience. You will also need to have a master's degree or equivalent higher-level demonstration of competency, as well as evidence of continued professional development.
