**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Teacher Pupil Support to join our team at Castle Douglas High School. As a key member of our extended leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing, improving, managing, and supporting the school to the benefit of our pupils, their parents, and the communities we serve.

The successful candidate will have a sound and detailed knowledge and understanding of the relevant aspects of Curriculum for Excellence 2-18, as well as possessing good leadership skills to deliver on improvement priorities. They will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the vision, values, and core priorities in the development of education, teaching, and learning that meets the needs of all pupils.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and manage within the role of Principal Teacher Support
  • Support and deliver high-quality educational experiences
  • Contribute to the positive management of the school by modelling the school aims and values to maximise and recognise the attainment and achievement of all of our young people

**Requirements**

  • Registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS)
  • Significant relocation package of up to £5000 may be available to the successful candidate
