**About the role and our team**
Join our team at Anagh Coar Primary School as an Education Support Officer
Within this role, you will work as part of a team to support pupils with complex learning needs within the mainstream school environment. You will be creative, outgoing and able to relate well to primary aged children, whilst communicating positively with colleagues, parents and outside agencies.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils, self-esteem and independence
- Helping to create and follow risk assessments and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing feedback to the class teacher, outside agencies and parents
- Implementing interventions to support the learning needs of pupils

**Salary **information**
Please note the salary indicated above is for a full time staff member who works 37 hours per week, all year round, including school holidays. If this role is working term time (or term time plus a few weeks), your actual salary will be reduced pro rata to the contracted hours per week and number of weeks worked through the year. You will also receive payment for your annual leave and bank holidays, as leave is not permitted during term time. To ensure you receive a salary each month of the year, your pay is rolled up and divided into 12 equal monthly payments.
**Additional information**
Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.
A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
