Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Speech Therapist to join our team in Ealing. As a key member of the Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities, you will provide specialist assessment, treatment and management to service users in community settings.

The ideal candidate will have substantial postgraduate experience in Speech Therapy, including NHS experience, and advanced knowledge of dysphagia management and relevant assessment tools. You will work closely with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment packages for clients with communication and swallowing disorders.

In this role, you will lead on dysphagia service development and provide advice to colleagues and carers on the management and care of clients with these needs.

Responsibilities:

  • To assess clients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • To develop and implement specialist treatment packages
  • To manage and prioritise a specialist caseload
  • To provide advice to other professionals and carers
  • To lead on dysphagia service development

Requirements:

  • Registration with Health Professions Council as a Speech Therapist
  • Recognised Speech Therapy Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Registered member of RCSLT
  • Evidence of successful completion of courses to Master's degree or equivalent, including post graduate Dysphagia qualification

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £43,000 - £51,000 per annum, plus opportunities for career progression and professional development in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
