This opportunity is a day shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role based in the South East of England. You will be working with one of the UK's leading manufacturing organisations, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will benefit from:

Main Responsibilities:

  • To carry out essential planned mechanical maintenance and complete necessary repairs to keep factories in good working order
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement throughout the factories, developing new ideas and better solutions
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs on industrial plant and equipment

Requirements:

  • A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above
  • Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment
