About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Tutor at HMP Five Wells. As an IAG Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality certificate level lessons to groups of up to 15 learners, exploring career paths, educational options, and personal development.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and experience in delivering IAG courses. You will need to be patient, passionate, and understanding in your approach, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners to secure future employment opportunities post-release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality IAG lessons to groups of up to 15 learners
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of learners
  • Assess and record learner progress
  • Work collaboratively with the education team to deliver a high-quality education service
  • Contribute to the development of the education service at HMP Five Wells
