Job Overview:
Dalkia UK is seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our high-performance finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Raise sales invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain deductions trackers, ensuring accurate accrual data and prompt resolution of queries.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure correct allocations, controlling WIP build-up, and chasing required documentation for client billing.
• Manage cash flow, chase debt, and resolve purchase invoice queries, GRN processes, and supplier invoicing issues.
• Provide support in contract management, including maintaining accurate P&L information, implementing contract data, and assisting Commercial Managers.

Requirements:
• Excellent customer care qualities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, with good planning and time management skills, able to integrate into a changing environment.
• Experience in a finance/commercial role, with a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and ability to interface with customers, suppliers, and employees at all levels.
• GCSE (or equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
