Job Title: Academic Financial Support Coordinator

The Academic Financial Support Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operational processes within our organization. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Mortgage Funds Request: The successful candidate will be responsible for requesting daily mortgage funds from our finance team, ensuring timely release and application of funds for our customers.
  • Loan Payment File Preparation: Prepare and send loan payment files to our finance team for the release of funds to solicitors.
  • Operational Finance Mailbox Enquiries: Monitor and manage Operational Finance mailbox enquiries, providing prompt responses to customer queries.
  • BACS Files Processing: Process BACS files (AUDDIS, ADDACS, DD Raise, and ARUDD) to facilitate efficient transactions.
  • Customer Account Updates: Update customer accounts by applying web portal payments, post-redemption monies, bank statement receipts, debit card payments, and third-party invoices.

Requirements:

  • Strong Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in secured lending or residential mortgage markets.
  • Technology Skills: Intermediate MS Office skills, with proficiency in Excel covering pivot tables, macros, and formulae.
  • Teamwork and Time Management: Proven ability to work effectively in high-volume, fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
