Huntingdonshire District Council is a forward-thinking local authority that values its residents and strives to provide high-quality services. We are seeking a skilled Conservation Assistant/Graduate to join our team and contribute to the preservation of our district's rich heritage.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced Conservation Officers and Team Leader to develop their skills in heritage conservation. This is an excellent opportunity for a heritage graduate to gain hands-on experience in commenting on development proposals and assisting in the production of policy guidance documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of policy guidance documents, such as Conservation Area Character Statements.
  • Comment on development proposals and provide expert advice on heritage conservation.
  • Work with the Conservation Officers and Team Leader to develop and implement heritage conservation projects.
