The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Philanthropy and Partnerships Team Leader to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a pivotal role in securing major gifts that directly fund essential services and life-changing aviation missions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team to build strong relationships with key donors and secure major funding to support our mission.
- Develop and execute a major gifts strategy, set clear targets, and manage an annual budget to ensure growth in income.
- Manage a portfolio of high-level donors, including institutional funders, to secure substantial gifts.
- Work collaboratively with the CEO, Trustees, and other stakeholders to cultivate new opportunities.
- Represent the Philanthropy and Partnerships team at key meetings and forums.
- Experience of fundraising from generous individuals and trusts.
- Experience building effective long-term relationships and influencing with Major Donors.
- Experience leading a successful team and working at a strategic level.
- Knowledge of philanthropy in the UK and trends in the sector.
- Knowledge of budget preparation and control.
- Understanding of the provisions of GDPR legislation and the implications for fundraising.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong track record of fundraising and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
