Overview

Screwfix is seeking a talented Range Performance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Range, Space and Formats team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial recommendations through data analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve range performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the range and category teams to understand performance of SKUs and suggest optimisation opportunities.
  • Maintain sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to track KPIs.
  • Support the range team in conducting deep-dive analysis to understand drivers of sales performance and identify areas for optimisation by store format, fulfilment channel, and category.
  • Prepare and present data/insights to the Format and Space Planning Manager and Senior Range Manager to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise with finance and commercial to understand trends and performance that can support business growth.
  • Regularly update the line manager on progress and key issues.
  • Attend internal meetings to provide support on optimisation and commercial performance as required.
  • Identify improvements that can be made in modelling and recommend process changes to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects to support business growth plans.

Requirements

  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to manage, manipulate, and analyse complex data.
  • Commercial awareness with a good understanding of business needs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear and compelling feedback.
  • Proactive approach with a willingness and ability to identify new insights, tools, and process efficiencies.
