Volunteer Manager Role

Charris Ltd is seeking a skilled Volunteer Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of volunteers across multiple sites. Your expertise in customer service, communication, and compassion will be essential in ensuring the success of our volunteer program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Volunteering Department to identify volunteer needs and opportunities.
  • Create written role outlines to match volunteers with suitable opportunities.
  • Recruit volunteers through various networks and organize recruitment events.
  • Oversee onboarding and enrolment of volunteers.
  • Implement and manage a training schedule for all volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate volunteer records and provide relevant KPIs.
  • Support and lead special projects in collaboration with other services.
  • Plan and implement Thank You events and recognition during Volunteering Week.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with the elderly, people with dementia, and disabled people.
  • Experience working with and training volunteers within a charity organization.
  • Excellent admin skills and high level of IT literacy.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Good knowledge of the Jewish Customs.
