Job Title: Financial Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team at Meridian Business Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of member accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining good communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of a small portfolio of member accounts
  • Ensuring deadlines on the credit control calendar are met
  • Responsible for ensuring member payments are received on time
  • Monitoring and enforcing member credit limits
  • Proactive in resolving member/supplier queries

Requirements:

  • Strong IT literacy, with a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel
  • Confidence and ability to build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work under pressure
