The University of Edinburgh Research Office is seeking a highly skilled Research Funding Specialist to support the submission and award of externally funded research activity. As a key member of the Research Funding Team, you will provide expert guidance on content, administrative structures, and project budgets to facilitate successful research funding applications.
The Opportunity:
The Edinburgh Research Office operates within the context of an ambitious and growing research agenda at the University of Edinburgh. As a Research Funding Specialist, you will collaborate with researchers, local professional services staff, and external collaborators to provide expert guidance on areas such as funder requirements, legal contracting, eligibility, and more. You will work agilely across teams to support the delivery of business-critical objectives, including key projects, major deadlines, and other time-sensitive initiatives.

- Demonstrable ability to analyse and summarise complex issues in research funding
