Cleaning Operative

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
- Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops and cleaning solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning service.
About You
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be required to work on your own initiative, organising your own time and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
