About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinical practitioner to strengthen their safeguarding portfolio and lead safeguarding activity within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive safeguarding activity within the organisation
  • Strengthen safeguarding portfolio
  • Work with the safeguarding team to ensure safe and effective services for vulnerable children and adults
  • Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Provide training and support to staff on safeguarding

Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse or Community Public Health Practitioner
  • 1st Level Degree
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and training in safeguarding
  • Knowledge of national and local safeguarding policies, guidelines, and recommendations
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to safeguarding children
