Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join our team in the Corby Glen area (NG33). As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with varying challenges, including behavioural challenges, SEN, and looked after children, to develop the skills required to succeed later in life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality Functional Skills English or Maths sessions to students with emotional support needs
  • Communicate effectively with local authorities and care home staff to ensure seamless support
  • Plan, produce, and deliver engaging sessions that cater to individual student needs
  • Hold a teaching qualification with QTS or relevant tutoring/TA experience
