Respiratory Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Respiratory Physician to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of respiratory medicine services across the trust.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a first-class clinical service, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care and meeting the needs of our patients.
- Provide effective leadership to junior doctors and medical students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Undertake all work in accordance with the trust's procedures and operating policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the trust's and operational divisions' services plans.
- Ensure evidence-based practice, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in respiratory medicine and maintaining professional skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full registration with the GMC at time of appointment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Undertaken programme of training acceptable to the Royal College of Physicians for appointment to Consultant Status.
- Entry on the Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within six months of interview), CESR or European Community Rights.
- Evidence of specific training in Respiratory Medicine.
