Respiratory Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Respiratory Physician to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative services to meet the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory diseases, including lung cancer, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct research and participate in clinical trials to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of respiratory medicine.
- Teach and mentor junior doctors and medical students to ensure the next generation of healthcare professionals is equipped to provide excellent care.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

- Full registration with the GMC at time of appointment.

- Undertaken programme of training acceptable to the Royal College of Physicians for appointment to Consultant Status.
- Entry on the Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within six months of interview), CESR or European Community Rights.
- Evidence of specific training in Respiratory Medicine.
