Senior Commercial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Accountant to join our finance team at CPM United Kingdom Ltd. This is a pivotal role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation and renewal of budgets for our clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate and review client reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Own the balance sheet and project ledger reconciliations for your account portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Deliver internal plans, quarterly and ad hoc forecasts in partnership with Client Service Directors.
  • Review outstanding debt and unbilled production with business partners, driving actions to optimize working capital.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working in a financial environment, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Working towards a relevant professional qualification, such as CIMA or ACCA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly developed Excel skills, with intermediate Word skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
