Infrastructure Quality Assurance Specialist

The Comex 2000 UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Wednesbury. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the company's streetworks operations meet industry standards and regulations.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Champion: Conduct thorough audits of permit requests, job execution, and documentation to identify compliance gaps and potential risks.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of streetworks activities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Training & Development: Provide targeted training and coaching to team members to enhance their knowledge and skills, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could lead to fines, delays, or safety incidents.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall operational performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including statutory undertakers, local authorities, and clients.
- Incident Investigation: Support incident investigations, analysing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of NRSWA, TMA, and related regulations.
- Auditing Skills: Proven experience in conducting audits and identifying areas for improvement.
- Training & Coaching: Strong ability to train and mentor team members.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
