Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of others.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing companionship and support to our clients in their own homes. Your duties may include:
- Companionship: Providing a friendly face and preventing loneliness through conversation and activities.
- Personal Care: Assisting with all aspects of personal hygiene and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medication: Collecting prescriptions and providing reminders, as well as administering medication as needed.
- Mealtimes: Preparing tasty meals and assisting with eating and drinking.
- Housekeeping: Keeping the client's home clean and tidy.
- Mobility: Assisting with getting around, including walking and transferring.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude at all times.
- A responsible, dedicated, and flexible approach to your work.
We offer a competitive salary of £12 per hour, plus paid mileage. Additionally, you will have access to:
