Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
Verto People is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer/ Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work remotely, covering Kent and Sussex, selling compressed air products and solutions, including compressors, nitrogen generators, blowers, and dryers, as well as associated equipment. They will also manage key accounts via OEM customers and end-user channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a number of key accounts for compressed air equipment via OEM customers and end-user channels.
• Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling compressed air products and services.
• Provide full product training to ensure the successful candidate has the necessary knowledge to excel in the role.
Requirements:
• Experience selling technical engineering products, preferably compressed air or transferable products such as pumps, valves, plant equipment, pneumatics, medical gas, hydrogen, hydraulics, rotating equipment, MRO, machinery, power tools, industrial systems, or similar.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage key accounts and grow existing relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
