Support Young People with a Hearing Impairment

About the Role

This permanent position involves working 8-hour shifts in residential houses, fostering positive relationships with young residents, and contributing to their safe, secure, and stimulating environment. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our compassionate community, supporting the diverse needs of our students.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate positive relationships with young individuals, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a safe, secure, and stimulating environment.
  • Support the learning and development of students, preparing them for the next stages of their lives.
  • Share the responsibility of safeguarding, nurturing, and educating pupils.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should be a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting young people. You should also have the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and flexibility to work shifts, including day shifts, night shifts, and sleep-ins.

Salary: £13.41-£14.44 per hour
