About the Role: The East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Highly Complex Wound Care Consultant to join their team. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing and managing highly complex wounds in acute and community settings.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in podiatry and wound care. You will be expected to develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk patients, provide clinical supervision and appraisal for staff, and lead education and training initiatives for the team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of post-registration experience in community and hospital settings, with a focus on diabetes, complex wound care, and high-risk foot. A car driver's license is also required for cross-county work.

Salary Information: The salary for this position is estimated to be between £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and leadership training.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years post registration experience in community and hospital settings in diabetes/ highly complex wound care/ high risk foot
