We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Streetscene team in East Dunbartonshire. The successful candidate will oversee daily frontline services such as street cleansing and grounds maintenance, ensuring high standards of team performance and productivity.

About the Role:

">

The Housing Policy Lead will be responsible for leading a team of operatives, squad leaders, and shift planners in daily frontline services. Key responsibilities include overseeing the work programme relating to Service Level Agreements for Housing and the Leisure Trust, ensuring successful delivery of a high standard of team performance & productivity, working using your own initiative, planning and prioritising workload, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and council policies & procedures.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a horticultural or Neighbourhood Services background, proven experience of leading, supporting, and encouraging a frontline team, experience of working with grounds maintenance plant and associated equipment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a full driving licence.

Salary and Benefits:

">

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will also receive a range of benefits including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a contributory pension scheme.
